El Rescate collaborates with INSAMI (Instituto Salvadoreño del Migrante) and CLIAR (Clinica Integral de Atención a Retornados.)
The Clínica was established in 2017 as a model to provide medical and psychological services to vulnerable “returnees,” deportees and to families displaced by violence. The clinic assists an average of 30-40 patients a month and has working partnerships with Doctors Without Borders, International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Rescue Committee, the Iglesia Reformada, the Anglican and Lutheran churches and others. The Clinic is funded by Glasswing Foundation and Conmigrante.
